About 40 students attend in each class. Many a time, multiple classes share a class room with separate boards painted
on opposite walls. Our observation is that repainting of one board costs INR 300, i.e., around $5. It lasts for 2 years.
Taking the strength, teaching hours, working days, etc. into consideration, this contribution turned out to be
very effective. To speak in ROI terms, it costs less than half a Paisa per improved student hour.
GETA.co.in team works with Mandal Education Officers, collects schools' data, Head Masters' contacts,
locates a sponsoring partner, arranges painters, tracks progress, and verifies work completion by means
of school acknowledgement, makes random inspections, and publishes project closure reports to sponsoring partners.
So far, with like-minded partners, we repainted 1287 Boards in 208 schools from 5 Revenue Mandals in
Andhra Pradesh, India. We could even derive a footprint on India Map!
